The Modernities Interdisciplinary Research Group brings together faculty from a broad range of disciplines with research interests on various aspects of modernity from the eighteenth to twenty-first centuries. Encouraging discussion and investigation across a wide array of interdisciplinary perspectives, research areas include Art History, English and American Literature, Performance Studies, Urban Studies, French Literature and Aesthetics, European, Asian, and African History, and Arab Studies, among others.
